The problem is already known: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/blog-layout-11/

Unfortunately does the the “No duplicates” trick fixes the problem only partly.
The pagination is working now, but the “No duplicates” option is not working correctly. The posts from section with the offset appears again as first posts on the next page.

    Hi gmmediadienste!

If your wanting to “connect” the magazine element and the blog posts element so they appear to be in sync then you’ll need to set the magazine element offset to 5 or 6.

    Cheers!

A offset to the magazine element?
I have set the offset to the blog element. If I give it also to the magazine element, both start with post 6 and post 1-5 disappear completely.

    Settings magazine element:

I am pretty sure it was working before, with offset 5 on the blog element. But if I use now offset with a number, the paging is not working anymore.

    Hey!

After closer inspection though I do not think it’s going to be feasible. It looks like you would have to increase the offset for each page or connect the queries somehow.

It’s possible but it would take quite a bit of time and code so it would have to be considered custom work. It would be best to hire a freelancer to help you out with this customization.

    Best regards,

Oh I thought that is the normal behavior of the offset function, that the two elements are connected.
I understand, the offset function is not working with paging, right?

    Hi!

It does but not when your using separate queries in the same page. You would have to connect the queries somehow.

    Cheers!
