Hello,
Despite having my blog settings to have summary display, not ALL of my blog posts adhere to this rule.
As you will see when you visit my blog, the first 2 posts display as they should and the rest display the full posts.

The post(http://www.candlesrecharge.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=2202&action=edit) does not show an excerpt because the content was created in the advance layout builder. You need to add an excerpt to it. We set the Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog layout to “Use the advance layout builder” and then added the blog posts element in the page. This is how it looks now: http://www.candlesrecharge.com/blog/

So despite me having the show author checked- on my blog posts it sin’t showing it- it shows it in the list of posts but nothing on the post itself…..
It also isn’t showing the comments or the share/social elements at the bottom of the post…… In the enfold blog options there is no box to check or uncheck FB & twitter……. It seems to me that anything to do with social and email sharing/contact is not working & mine isn’t the only site…..I have tried using chrome and still run into the same issues so it’s not my safari browser…..

Did you try saving the post while using the default editor? If not then please try doing so.

No I did not do that. When I did go in to try to do it, I didn’t want to press save because it looked as though it was going to wipe all the content.
Why do I have to do it that way- why doesn’t your advanced editor work with these things?

When using the Builder for posts it will act like a page instead, the thought behind it an alternative for people who want full control over the design of their posts.
If you are scared of losing your content you can try activate debug mode in order to display shortcodes: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/. You can then copy your shortcode prior to saving in case something should go wrong.

for example missing the section where I can write the summary/abstract of each post/news, I don’t know the raison, for example at following link works, but at current website doesn’t show, it isn’t he section to write it

If you are looking to add and excerpt to your posts then you can do so when editing the post in question. If you can’t see the excerpt field then please select to show it under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen.
