    Hi,
    Iwould like to make an overview for blog pages. Would like to habve the title and a little bit of text plus link to the page. I made the setting but the text will not be shown.
    Because of the transparency in the backgroud i had to make a normal page out of the blog page and put the background on white. Can that be the reason? Hopefully not!
    Would be great when it would be possible to have some text under the title.

    Hey rixi,

    Did you create your posts using the Layout Builder? If so, then the except needs to be added manually to them. You can do that by activating the Excerpt field under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen. If you need further help, then please post admin WordPress login details in private.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. You need to add the excerpt manually when using the Layout Builder, as I wrote earlier. I added it for you in the post in private, and it shows up as expected.
