Hello. I have a new website launched and now the blog entries on the “News” page does not function correctly. I’m sure it has to do with Permalinks, but don’t know how to fix it. The permalinks are to go to website %title%. Works fine for the pages but that permalink sends the News/Blog to the home page and not to the article. Also, the “Read More” links do not work. I did install the “Custom Permalinks” plugin but the configuration doens’t make any difference. I also added this to the custom CSS: /*Redirect News-Blog Posts to full Article*/
.blog .post-title.entry-title, .blog .big-preview.single-big {
pointer-events: none;
}
Can you please take a look and see how I might fix this issue? I’m under the gun since the site is live. Those links and the blog was working before publishing it live.Thank you in advance for your assistance and let me know if you need login information to take a look around.

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

March 1, 2018 at 8:13 am #919447Hi,
Thanks for the login details. I see that you have a plugin for custom permalinks, could you try to disable that and resave your settings under Settings->Permalinks?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 1, 2018 at 6:31 pm #919793Hello Rikard,
I was having problems with the site prior to installing that plugin. I read in your forums that the plugin might solve the problem, so I installed it. It must be another problem. How can I define the Permalinks in the blog/news area so it recognizes the %title% as the link for reading the entire post?Thank you so much,
March 2, 2018 at 6:28 am #920091Hi,
I change the permalink structure on the page in private, and it seems to be working. Could you have a look please?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 7, 2018 at 9:44 pm #923351THank you so much, it is working now. I do appreciate you! Can explain what you mean by “permalink structure on the page in private”? Where is the private part found?
Thank you!March 8, 2018 at 7:33 am #923604 -
