I have the same problem like StudioLiner. I installed the Blog underneath my subnavigation mark “blog”. As soon as I klicked on “startsite”, I saw the blog again – although I installed it underneath “blog”, not “start”. I duplicated the whole “startsite” because I also don’t want the solution with the redirect plugin. Then: It worked. I deleted the old “startsite”, used the new one. As soon as I clicked it in the navigation everything worked. But: Now it was the case that the “blog” plopped up, as soon as I entered the frontpage of my test-domain: test.keynote-speakerin.de
In the options I then clicked “show startsite as a frontpage” and now the whole mess is the same like before. Now I have the correct frontpage (startsite), but as soon as I click on the navigation mark “startsite” now it shows the “blog” again. ARGH.Please check that folks, it took me two hours today, to have the same problem like before.

Ismael
ModeratorHi!
Did you modify the menu correctly? Please go to the Appearance > Menus panel then recreate the menu items. If you don’t mind, please create your own thread. Add the url to the site and the login details.
Best regards,
Ismael_______
Hi Ismael – here is the thread and the login details. I can’t see why the menu shouldn’t be correct. Test on URL: http://test.keynote-speakerin.de/ (same Authorization, see private content) – klick on “startseite” or the logo in the header and you’ll get the blog, although it is installed correctly in the options. Thank you!
Best, Jennifer
August 8, 2015 at 7:19 am #484759Hi JVW234,
I’m not sure what’s going on there but I think it’s because of you Polylang plugin, when viewing the site it goes to …/de/. I’m not familiar with that plugins and it becomes even harder for me when it’s in german, could you have a look at the settings in the plugin please?
Thanks,
RikardAugust 8, 2015 at 11:09 am #484784Hi Rikard,
thank you! You seem to be right – as soon as I deactivated Polylang it worked. Did you hear about problems with enfold and polylang earlier? Can you recommend a multilanguage plugin that works?
I tried some variations in the settings of the plugin. Nothing helped really except of the hook in the box of “URL Informationen für die Standardsprache verstecken” – which means “hide URL info for standard language”. Now this works for now, but I am a bit nervous about what’s happening as soon as I start with the English translation of the pages – maybe then there is the same problem with the English part…?Thank you for your support!
