We are displaying the featured image in our blog.
The picturesare not resized correctly.
We want to display the last blog posts with a big picture and the following blog posts in a grid showing 2 posts on each row.
If we use a too small picture as the featured image the picture will be unsharp when displayed as the firts blog post.
If using a big picture the picture will be cut-off in the grid instead of being rezised.
Could you guide us in the correct direction?
Should we change something in our CSS or use a certain size on the featured pictures?
Hey Pro4uPro4u,
Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue? It seems to look fine on my end.
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi, I can’t find out how to attach a file to this support case, with the screenshots. Please tell me. :-)
So long I have added link to a file on our wp-site and links to the pages. See private content.
Hi Pro4uPro4u,
Thank you for clarifying.
Please have a look at the solutions posted in this thread:
The featured image you have is 1500×630 in the original size, but the grid uses the 495×400 size and so it uses the cropped version. These images even have very different aspect ratios.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
Victoria
