    Hi-
    I would like to add a “sidebar” to the bottom of each individual blog. I went into advanced layout editor and was able to add it and was about to create a template for my new blog layout when I noticed the featured image no longer displayed at the top of the blog post.

    How can I modify the blog post layout while still maintaining the featured image functionality?

    Hey mclweb,

    When using the layout builder for posts, then you will need to add all content to it manually. That includes the featured image and excerpt etc.
