February 25, 2019 at 9:43 pm #1071479Hello,
I’ve selected title, excerpt and read more as the option for by blog page (grid layout). The title and read more show up but there’s no excerpt?
I’ve looked everywhere but I’m not sure how to fix this.
ThanksFebruary 25, 2019 at 10:30 pm #1071495Hi Cynthia Have you actually added content for your excerpt in the backend?
If yes, then it should also show up in the frontend.Best,
 MichaelFebruary 25, 2019 at 10:52 pm #1071507Hi Michael,
When I change the layout to single author, big preview pic and select excerpt with read more link all the excerpts shows up. I have a read more link in all my posts so I didn’t think it mattered which layout you chose as long as you had the read more link it would show everything above that as the excerpt.I changed my layout to grid and selected title, excerpt with read more but excerpt doesn’t show? I’m not sure why it works for one layout and not the other? February 25, 2019 at 11:32 pm #1071532Hard to judge from the outside, sorry. March 1, 2019 at 6:18 am #1072904Hi Cynthia45, Could you post a link to where we can see the problem please? Best regards,

Yes of course. I’ve put it in the private content.
ThanksMarch 4, 2019 at 9:50 pm #1074533This reply has been marked as private.March 6, 2019 at 6:41 am #1075305Hi, Thanks for that. I see that you are using the Layout Builder to create your posts, when doing that everything needs to be added to the post manually, including the excerpt. You can activate the Excerpt field under Screen Options in the top right hand side of the screen. Best regards,
 Rikard
