    Hello,
    I have a question. If I make a blog and style this with the advanced layout editor in the blog overview the subheadline is not visible (no problem I do this with the excerpt). But on the detail blog page the blog picture is not visible. I know I can show an other picture but is there a possibility that the blog picture is showing automatic?
    I hope everything is clear with my explanation :))

    Hey weblinedesign,

    You can add featured images to the blog post created with the Advanced Layout Builder and that image will be shown.

    Thank you for answering, but that means, that automatic the blog overview picture is taken, only works with the standard editor? Is there maybe a possibility to change the design template of the blog page?

    Hi Barbara,

    You can use a different component to show your blog, masonry, content slider or content grid. You still need to have the featured image added to the post though.

    Or you will need to build custom components but that is a whole different story.

    Did the featured images not work for you?

    You can also play with the settings of the component that you’re using now.

    Thank you for your patience, but I think you do not understand what I mean. So I made some screenshots.

    1. I have a standard Blog (This is a test) – overview is perfect and it take the featured image

    2. Detail page is okay with the featured image

    3 & 4. I change from standard editor to advanced layout editor

    5. the featured image is no more longer here

    Is there any possibility to work with the advanced editor and the featured image?

    I try it again and hope it works now.

    Hi Barbara,

    Yes, featured image does not display in the blog post itself if you build it with the Advanced Layout Builder.
    But it will show up on the grids.

    To have the image in the blog post itself you need to add it manually to the post.

    Did I get you right this time?
