    Hi – is there a way to have a custom header background color or background image for the BLOG pages?
    It would be great to add a transparent header with a slideshow (layered slider)

    Hi Nadja,

    If you want that on category pages like you linked to it will be difficult, but you can try creating your blog page by placing the elements you want on a new page including the Blog Post element.
