    Hi there,

This issue has been pretty persistent now – been more than 3 months and I am unable to find a solution. Blogs at a random pattern convert to ALB format – while they are written in the classic editor.

    Sample here:

Can someone please provide a solution?

    Hey DXDev,

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Disabling all plugins do not revert the blog posts which were converted to ALB and disabling them one by one will not help identify the problem that why this automatic conversion is happening because the posts which get converted automatically are random. Right now, all plugins are disabled though. It’s a staging server, so we can live with disabled plugins.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

Is this still happening? We checked the functions.php file and the js > custom.js, but we didn’t find anything that might convert any post or page to ALB. We also created draft posts but none of them is converted to ALB.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

It’s not resolved. Some other random blog(s) started to get converted to ALB now, automatically.

    Example: https://www.qa.2ndquadrant.com/en/blog/automated-rapid-switchover-with-a-bdr-database-cluster-in-kubernetes/

One pattern that could be observed is that the blog posts which gets converted to ALB have their comment section off automatically as well.

    Hi,

We still have no idea why those blog posts get converted to ALB automatically. It is possible that a plugin or a third party script is causing this, so disabling the plugins temporarily in the staging site might help get rid of the issue.

One pattern that could be observed is that the blog posts which gets converted to ALB have their comment section off automatically as well.

The comment section will not display automatically when ALB is active. It has to be added manually in the page using the Comments element from the builder.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
