Hi there!
I have a Masonry gallery on my homepage that links to my blog categories. However, the blog category page is rather limited with options of layout from what I can see.
Is there any way that the blog category page can show featured images grid style? As of now, it just shows a list of the blogs in that category. If i click on the blog, I’ll get my featured image, but not on the blog category page.
Thank you!

March 25, 2016 at 3:01 pm #603652Hi!
Thank you for coming back and sorry for the delay.
The blog page follows the WP standard to show a list of posts.
Of course, everything is possible. You can change the template behaviour by writing your own code.
What about: Consider using the template builder and create a page.

April 5, 2016 at 2:03 pm #608291Hey!
it won’t be easily possible as category page does not support ALB. So you would need to write your own code for this. You could also hire a freelance developer for this job.

That is not happening on my end, the featured images are linking to your articles. Could you try clearing your browser cache and reload the page to see if that helps please?

RikardOctober 4, 2017 at 4:18 pm #860195Hi Rikard,
I switched it back to grid which works so I will leave it as grid. I was researching while waiting for your reply and found that it was because I don’t use gravatars. I had to disable gravatars because it was slowing down important posts with a lot of comments.
Also found that I need to re-write all the blog posts that were done using ALB as I need the proper meta data.
My new problem is I spent a lot of time creating a table that I’m trying to figure out how to get back into the post.
Any chance you can help me with that? I’m not using a child theme…October 5, 2017 at 8:35 am #860474 -
