    I have a blog posts widget configured to show posts from a single category, but it is showing posts from all of them.

    The thing is it is better not to have a category or tag named “blog”, WordPress is gonna show all as it does.

    Thanks for that, it’s likely due to that the page is set as the blog post page in the theme options. What happens if you unset or select a different page there?
