Howdy –
When I try to edit a blog post using the Advanced Layout Editor, it totally resizes the width of the entry and makes it much wider than what the chosen Elegant Blog Styling should look like (set under Enfold => Blog Layout => Blog Styling).
My entries only display correctly as “Elegant Blog Styling” when I use the default editor. Unfortunately, the default editor is also really hard to use – I’d prefer to be able to use the Advanced Layout Editor (the entire reason I purchased Enfold, lol).
The only way I can think to get around this is to edit in Advanced Layout Editor, and then switch back to default editor and save as default….
Please advise, thank you! (Private message includes login and purchase code / confirmation of support purchased.)

VictoriaMarch 7, 2019 at 4:31 pm #1076039Hi Victoria –
Thanks for getting back to me. My goal is to have a post layout with centered text in the middle and white space on every side, similar to how many blogs are formatted nowadays. (Medium, etc., etc.)
Selecting “Elegant Blog Styling” initially accomplishes this when I select this option this under Enfold => Blog Layout => Blog Styling.
But then as soon as I start to use the advanced layout builder to write a blog post, it seems to forget that the content should be in the middle, and everything spreads across the entire page.
I ended up having to use the advanced layout builder to create a 1/5 x 3/5 x 1/5 layout, so that way my posts would be centered in the middle, with white space on either side.
However, it was kind of a pain to do that – I wish posts could just default to the Elegant Blog Styling. But I guess they can’t, it’s not compatible with the Advanced Layout Builder?
Thanks again for helping me to understand, I appreciate it! :)

So is this a working solution for you or do you need any more help?
Did you try using a 1/1 element?
Best regards,
VictoriaMarch 16, 2019 at 9:05 pm #1079498I have gotten this to work in advanced layout just by using blank 1/5 size columns on the end of all content.
