Hi,
the single post page shows the big preview image with a predefined size (I guess it’s 736×321). Is there any code to change this, so that the big preview image shows the original image size (the original upload file)?
Thanks, Stefan
Hey westefan,
Sorry for the late reply!
Please use this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/ and update “entry_with_sidebar” and “entry_without_sidebar” image sizes and regenerate thumbnails :)
Best regards,
Yigit
Hey Yigit,
thanks! With this solution I have to define a certain size for all blog entry images. But the question is, if it’s possible to use the original images (with different sizes), always with 100% width und height?
Best regards
Stefan
Hi Stefan,
You can delete values from “entry_with_sidebar” and “entry_without_sidebar” image sizes and regenerate them and that would display them in their original sizes :)

Yigit
Hi Yigit,
many thanks, but unfortunately it doesn’t work. Maybe because this plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress?
Best regards
Stefan
Hi,
Have you regenerated thumbnails after deleting values from fields? I tested it on my local installation and it works fine so I do not think it’s plugin related.
If you do not mind posting WP logins privately, we can also look into it for you :)
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi Yigit,
thanks for your offer. I found out that with new uploaded images it works now. That’s ok so, you can close the thread.
Many thanks and best regards
Stefan
