Hi team,
I have noted in my Serach Console panel that my site has 90 pages having blocked resources afer the enfold update of December 12th (please go to the private content). Do know the cause?
What do you recommend? Unblock it at the robots.txs? Or is it a risk?
Thanks for your help.February 3, 2017 at 7:40 am #742205Hey turistai,
Could you post a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 3, 2017 at 9:49 am #742293Thanks Rikard,
the link at the private space.February 4, 2017 at 8:54 am #742711Hi,
Thanks for that, there seems to be a lot of blocked resources but none are related to the theme. They seem to be ads? Are you using an ad service on the page?
Are you running the latest version of the theme (3.8.5)? If not then please try updating: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

RikardFebruary 4, 2017 at 11:33 am #742779Thanks again Rikard.
I have no ad service in my blog. I attached a couple of images to show you the Google Search Console results.
I would appreciate your opinion about it.February 8, 2017 at 4:06 pm #744393February 10, 2017 at 12:10 am #745145Hello Yigit,

Cheers!
YigitFebruary 10, 2017 at 12:43 am #745151It is ok. I forgot to unblock it.
SorryFebruary 14, 2017 at 12:59 am #746683Hello Yigit,
your FTP login is ok. Could you please let me know if you are going to check the issue in my blog?
I will write them again in the private space.
Thanks for your support.February 14, 2017 at 2:04 am #746689I had a similar problem with recent update, but it was my fault because I did not update robots.txt file.
The first thing I did was to ID primary blocked URL’s
If you have Google webmaster, you can see your blocked resources. http://prntscr.com/e8etbx
you can then test the blocked URL in Google webmaster tool Robotx.txt http://prntscr.com/e8eu1e
then update robots.txt
or you can
Fetch as Google your home url using the Fetch and Render, then click on status and blocked URL will be identified by Google.
then you’ll ned to update robots.txtthat is how I handled it, but maybe your situation is not the same….

Also there could be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

AndyFebruary 15, 2017 at 9:42 am #747373Hello @edfritz,
thanks for your suggestion. I did it already and identified the blocked resources. My doubt was if unblocking the folder “enfold-child”(where the resource is located) or not. Is it safe or recommended?
It seems a little bit strange that Google searches for this resource.
Otherwise I am afraid of following @andy advice. I am a newbie and it seems complicated.
Have a nice day and thanks for the support.February 19, 2017 at 7:19 pm #749043Hi,
you are safe to unblock /enfold-child/ as it contains site resources.Best regards,
