    Our site just went live this past week and we received an email from Google Console indicating that the “submitted URL is being blocked by robots.txt,:. A few days ago, I went into Settings, Readings and unchecked the box that says “Discourage search engines from indexing this site.” Is there another place I need to make a change within WordPress to fix this issue?

    In the meantime, I contacted my host and they added the default robots.txt to allow search engine indexing. They said there wasn’t a robots.txt created yet. Do I need to do anything additional?

    Hey reelhomes2017,

    Can you give us a link to your site and ftp access? so we can check further, just post the details in private content, so it’s only visible to you and the moderators.
