    Hi,

    After updating bbPress to version 2.5 it doesn’t work as it used to.

    1.) When clicking your profile picture (in the bbPress login widget), you used to go to your own profile with a menu bar on top to view your stats and edit your profile. But with bbPress 2.5, when you click on your profile picture you only go to your profile page with information about your Role, Posts created and Posts replied to. (yoursite.com/forums/users/username/)

    2.) Also, when on your own profile page, and the edit page, you can click your own picture but it links to your own profile page, where you already are.

    3.) Another thing is the styling on your profile page. It shows a big line around the picture that shouldn’t be there. Screenshot here on dropbox.

    4.) I also used a text link below the logout button to change your profile (yoursite.com/forums/users/username/edit/). After the update the text displays directly behind the logout button, so it’s not visible anymore. Screen on dropbox 2.
    I created a topic on the bbPress forum: Here.

    Can anyone help me with this?
    Problems 1, 2 and 3 aren’t a real problem, but now you can’t change your profile when clicking on your picture problem 4 really needs to be solved.

    Many many thanks!
    Regards,
    Michael

    Any solution guys?

    Hi!

    I’ll tag the topic for Kriesi but as of right now none of the themes have been tested or officially support 2.5. He has been sick for a few weeks so there hasn’t been a chance to test yet so if you are looking for an ASAP solution or update that will most likely not happen right away.

    Regards,
    Devin

    You can download all previous versions here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress/developers/

    If you both could also try using bbPress 2.5 on one of the default WordPress themes as well, you can get an idea for what has changed from bbPress vs what is an issue from the theme side of things. For instance, if bbPress by default changes how the profile page looks or works we can’t do anything about that.

    Hi,

    The menubar you used to see on top is in bbPress 2.5 replaced below the profile picture.
    See here.

    That’s why you see a line with a large white space below the profile pic in Enfold.

    The edit page still looks te same. See here.

    So it’s definitely a theme problem.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi!

    Please try to add following code into the quick css field

    #bbp-single-user-details #bbp-user-navigation li {
    float: left;
    width: 100%;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    That doesn’t seems to work.. The white space below the profile pic has decreased, but still no menu is visible.
    View here.

    Also, the breadcrumb doesn’t seems to work. It says “Home” while it’s not on the home page, the rest of the site works fine.

    Many thanks!
