I am experiencing a problem with one of the websites I manage (URL) – it is a dual-language site (English and German). There are problems on both languages, especially the English (EN) site, which were previously working perfectly but now, a number of elements are “hidden”. I am wondering if some glitch came in during an update? Here the exact problems:

    1. The full-width easy slider image is not showing up on the EN site, which means that one currently also can’t see the menu points (because the menu points are in white);

    2. The “News”, “Materials”, “Our team” and “Publications” headings (which are all set as colour sections) are supposed to show a background image but for some reason they are not (none of them are showing on the EN site, and on the DE site “Unser Team” and “Publikationen” aren’t showing).

Any idea how to fix this?

    Thanks!

    Chris

    Hi,

Thanks for the login details. Could you try updating WordPress to the latest version, to see if that helps please?

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,

    Sorry for replying so late!

I updated WordPress and Enfold to the latest versions – WordPress 5.8 and Enfold 4.8.6.2 – but the problem still persists.

    Any other ideas?

    Best,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the update. We’ve seen this problem on other sites too, and adding a filter helped on those sites. I tried adding the same filter to your site, but it doesn’t seem to be working for some reason. Could you share FTP login details with us in private as well please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I’m not sure exactly what is going on with your site, but it doesn’t seem to be a theme problem. The server seems to be resetting connection requests, please see private. Could you try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they can give you more information on those errors please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
