Hello,
I’m trying to change the background of the content, entry-content or the container. each of those classes can change the background but I don’t get the desired result. Using entry-content doesn’t work when I use your advanced editor, then entry-content isn’t used, so there is no background. Using .content gives me everywhere the desired background, but the background stretch itself beneath the sidebar. Perhaps the best way to make my self clear is showing it, you can see the page which shows my problem right here.
Does anyone knows how to get the content div behaves itself so that it doesn’t stretch beneath the sidebar?
Regards,
Erwin

The reason it is overlapping is because of this CSS in your child theme.
.container .av-content-small.units { margin-right: -42px !important; }
Remove that and increase reduce the main content width ratio in Dashboard > Enfold > General Layout > Dimensions.
Cheers!

That works great, thanks! But I’m now entering the next problem. I would like the space between he elements and the sidebar to be equal. I can’t find the right classes to adjust for this. Perhaps you know them? See the page then you see what I mean.
Thanks and regards,
Erwin

You can simply use Widget Area element to display your widgets and place the element into any column element you would like.
Best regards,

That looks promising! Thanks!
Can you also tell me how to change the distance between the columns? I would like those to be equal to the space at the top.

June 8, 2015 at 12:33 pm #456017Hi!
Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.2 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Now you have more control over column elements. You can take a look at other highlighted new features here – http://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-3-2-super-flexible-columns-new-church-and-wedding-demos-and-so-much-moreCheers!
