    Here is a page with a background image where the posts sit. It has a water image and a bluish overlay.

    Effect I’m trying to achieve with enfold is:

    I am trying to duplicate this effect with Enfold, but not having good results.
    In Color Block, I put in the image as background image — stretched or scale to fit and top left.
    Then I put in overlay color of #12809b

    Results are cloudy, not as crisp as shown on page I’m seeing effect on. Tried multiple percentages.

    Can you help me? I’ve played around for several hours and gotten nowhere fast.

    Know EVERYTHING can be achieved with Enfold. It’s marvelous…but fear my understanding of it is not!

    We cannot find the section with the overlay in the home page. Would you mind providing a screenshot of the issue? You can use platforms like Savvyify, Imgur or Dropbox to upload and share the screenshot. Here are the steps to follow:

    2.) Locate the option to upload a file or an image.
    3.) Select the screenshot file from your computer or device and upload it to the platform.

    I turned off all my personal css, so I don’t interfere with the processing of the background of the color block.
    The oddity is…I get the background you see in the savify link on my LAPTOP monitor, but get NO background on IPAD. Have no idea how I achieved this!
    This seems to be MORE of a problem than just muddy background compared to the original?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the page code, the code block element was empty so I don’t know why that was but I added the image to the color section and ensured the image size was “large” 1030×368:

    then I noticed you tried to add a overlay color, I removed this and added the background color instead:

    and now it looks good:

    Looks great now.
    BTW, the code block is in case I wanted to make any css changes…but I hadn’t, which was why it was blank.
