When I apply version 4.5.6 to 3.2.3 I lose the background images on 3 areas of the site. The wood grain behind the top menu,the spot below the scrolling picture and the background of the rest of the site. I changed my PHP to 7.2 after the switched. I did not create this site but have taken over looking after it. Everything else appears to be ok. I have switched it back to the original theme and php version for now. I wonder if I had the upgrade versions in between if this would have happened. Wish I could upload pictures to show you.

We’ve had problems with that in the latest version of the theme unfortunately, please try to install the beta version of the next theme version to see if that helps. Link in private.

RikardI can’t get it to install. It crashed during the upload if I use the WP theme installer. If I upload it and unzip it I get a Unfold folder and a .git folder. If I preview it on my computer I can see the files and folders but it fails with numerous “unspecified error”s when I try to unzip it.

Thanks for that, I only get an empty folder on the server and I can’t navigate anywhere. I think you have to assign the account some type of access level?

RikardFor some reason I can’t seem to FTP (or SFTP or even secure FTP) to the site. Can we try another downloadable update?

Do you mean you cannot reach your files via FTP? You need to write to your hosting provider to help you with the issue.

VictoriaI can log into my cpanel and upload files or use my WP backend but my FTP doesn’t seem to work. Rikard and I both tried to unzip the beta but it wouldn’t work. The beta link doesn’t work anymore so I had hoped there was a new version I could try.

Thanks for the update. The problem that you can’t see anything in the FTP account you would have to bring up with your hosting provider, we can’t help you out with that unfortunately.
If you want to install the latest version of the theme (4.5.7) then you can try to use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/. You could also delete the old version, then upload the new one as usual. Please make sure that you have backups of the site before you start updating.

RikardOk but where do I get 4.5.7 from? Did this fix the original issue I had? I never got the beta that you offered to work. I get and “invalid url” if I try to install the suggested update from the WP themes update link for that theme.
