See https://praktijkalfaomega.nl/psycholoog-veenendaal-2/
Before the update to Enfold 4.8.6.1 this page showed an image, but the image is not displayed anymore after the update.
It is a background image in a Content-sectie (Dutch), I guess it is Color Section in English (not sure).
The problem does not appear on mobiles/smaller screens as I’m using another element (not Content-sectie) for those devices.August 14, 2021 at 8:28 am #1316722See Private Content.

August 17, 2021 at 8:01 am #1317107By the way: I just updated to 4.8.6.2
August 17, 2021 at 11:18 am #1317137We’re having the same issue even after updating to Enfold 4.8.6.2: Background images are not shown. Please fix this.
August 18, 2021 at 3:59 am #1317224Hi bvwijk,
Thanks for that, the IP address doesn’t seem to be working either unfortunately, please see private.
About your problem; please try to activate the option to delete the old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance, then save the theme options. That should regenerate the theme CSS files, and your images should hopefully be visible after that. If it doesn’t work, then we would need to access your site in order to check the problem further.

RikardAugust 18, 2021 at 4:00 am #1317225Hi jochenmaier,
Please check the suggestion I posted above just now. If that doesn’t work for you, then please open a new thread and include WordPress admin login details in private, so that we can have a closer look at your site.

RikardAugust 18, 2021 at 10:13 am #1317313Hi Rikard,
Unfortunately, activating the option ‘delete old CSS and JS scripts’ did not solve the problem.
I switched off the IP-restriction to my site, so I expect that you can login now. Otherwise please let me know.

BertAugust 19, 2021 at 5:54 am #1317427Hi Bert,
Thanks for the update. We can access your site now, but I’m not sure what the problem is on your site unfortunately. Could you share FTP login details with us in private as well please?
Best regards,
RikardAugust 19, 2021 at 10:20 am #1317458Thanks so far. See private for the FTP login details. Hope this satisfies.
August 20, 2021 at 4:31 pm #1317645Hi,
Sorry for the problems.
When loading the page I get following error for
GET https://your_site_name/wp-content/uploads/avia_posts_css/post-5.css?ver=ver-1629459115 ---- Status403 Forbidden VersionHTTP/2 Übertragen894 B (752 B Größe) Referrer Policystrict-origin-when-cross-origin
This file holds the CSS to display the background images and other styling needed for this page (this was added starting with 4.8.4).
One user could solve it by enable query parameters (which he had blocked before) needed to invalidate browser cached post-5.css file when page is updated (?ver=ver-1629459115).
Alternate way (but not recommended, only if your server configuration makes it absolutly necessary) is to disable file generation by adding this to your functions.php file:
For testing and until you find a solution with your hoster it is OK.

GünterAugust 20, 2021 at 5:16 pm #1317649I have the exact same problem with multiple sites!

RikardAugust 21, 2021 at 4:21 am #1317692Hi bvwijk,
I added the filter which Günter linked to above to your functions.php file, and your background images are showing now. As Günter explained above, the server is returning a 403 for the https://your_site_name/wp-content/uploads/avia_posts_css/ folder. You will have to reach out to your hosting provider, to see if they can fix that for you. Please note that the filter I added will be overwritten if you update the theme, since you are not running a child theme on the site.

RikardAugust 21, 2021 at 8:08 am #1317724Thanks Rikard and Gunter,
I will check with my provider about error 403.
In the meantime can please you apply the same filter to my other website? You can find the credentials in private.Regards,
BertAugust 23, 2021 at 6:11 am #1317900Hi Bert,
Thanks for the update. I’ve added the filter to your other site as well, and the background images are working now. Please review your site.
Best regards,
RikardAugust 23, 2021 at 1:34 pm #1317964Great, thanks!
In the meantime my provider restored the connection rights so I expect error 403 has been solved right now.
Not sure: does this mean that the filter can be removed once again, or do you need to do further analysis?

Thanks for the update. I removed the filter I added, and I’m not seeing any changes on the front end of your site after that, the background images are still working. Could you check and verify on your end as well please?

RikardAugust 25, 2021 at 9:34 pm #1318344Hi Rikard,
Indeed, the images are still working on both websites. I guess the problem has been solved right now and in the future I should be able to update Enfold to a new version without having this same problem?

BertAugust 27, 2021 at 4:57 am #1318544Hi Bert,
