Hi I am using a boxed layout and put #FFFFFF behind as the background colour. I wanted to see what it would look like with an image behind but I didn’t like it. When I removed the image and changed it back to the white and saved. The colour from the socket became the background colour and I could not remove it. I refreshed and reloaded the page but it would not go. I have now had to make a 10 pixel white png file to get the background back to white but it is not great as when you load the website you get a flash of the maroon colour. Please can you help.
February 8, 2018 at 10:15 pm #909990Hey Linda,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
BasilisFebruary 9, 2018 at 2:43 am #910080Hi Basilis
Thanks for this. I think the client wants the site to be unboxed now but have left it in boxed set up so you can see. As you’ll see on the general styling the background is white but shows as maroon. When you have the look as stretched you see a very quick flash of maroon when the site loads.
This has also happened on another site so if you can let me know what to do that would be great.
Thanks so much.

MikeFebruary 10, 2018 at 7:04 pm #910609Hi Mike, I have already tried that and it does change the whole background to white but that is not what I want as I want the socket to be #702333?
