    Hi,

If you compare my portfolio page in the backend with the one that’s live you will see that it’s not the same. I can’t figure out why. It’s like a blog page. Can you have a look at it and point me in the right direction please?

    Thank you

    Hey june,

Are you referring to the page in private? If so then I can’t see any differences between the back and front end. Could you try to explain the problem you are having a bit further please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hi Rikard, thank you so much for your response.
I actually changed the slug from “portfolio” to portfolios” which seems to have helped, but ideally I would like to have the slug without the s. The minute I do that the page layout changes and I am not quite sure why. It’s like it’s picking up information from a different source.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. The portfolio slug is reserved for the portfolio custom post type unfortunately. Are you ok with using portfolios instead?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard
I am using the portfolio items to build mine. Is that what you mean?

    Hi,

Yes, the portfolio custom post type, which you are using, reserves that slug. If you can use a different permalink for the problem page, then that would be the easiest solution.

    Best regards,
