I also posted this in the Themeforest comments section, so apologies for duplicate posting.
The front end is fine. The back end acts inconsistently. Some functions white screen. Others also white screen (e.g., clicking “Installed Plugins”) but after hitting refresh several times and/or clearing the cache, the function works.
My WP error log shows this error repeatedly: “PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /homepages/32/d788783783/htdocs/mysite/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/function-set-avia-frontend.php on line 66”
I am running the latest version of Enfold, PHP 7.2
Thanks for your help on this.
UPDATE 7/16/2019: I did a complete manual FTP reinstall of Enfold but the problem persists. Today I received the following automated email from WordPress:
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with your theme, Enfold.
First, visit your website (https://mysite.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://mysite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php) and check for any visible issues.

You’ll find the problem occurs especially when selecting “Installed Plugins” or “Add New” plugins. It will usually white screen. After refreshing the screen multiple times and/or clearing the browser cache, the white screen clears and the page finally appears (usually). It’s inconsistent and not something I’ve encountered previously. This is my 4th installation using Enfold on 1and1 and have never had this issue previously. Again, thanks.July 17, 2019 at 6:56 am #1119420Hi,
Thanks for that, I see that same problem on multiple pages on the backend, I don’t think it’s a theme problem though. What happens if you activate one of the default WordPress themes or deactivate all plugins?
Best regards,
RikardJuly 17, 2019 at 7:12 am #1119423Changing themes (to 2019) solved the problem. I haven’t had success deactivating plugins.

VictoriaJuly 17, 2019 at 2:30 pm #1119589Sorry, perhaps I was not clear. The problem is not solved.
When I change the theme from Enfold to Twenty Nineteen, the back end works fine. However, when I change back to Enfold, the problems return.
I also noticed the following errors in Woocommerce/Status/Logs:
-

Finally, I am unable to automatically install any new plugins. The following message is thrown at the top of the “Add Plugins” page when I try to install a new plugin:
-

July 18, 2019 at 5:18 am #1119767Hi,
Thanks for the update, I’m not sure what is going wrong on your installation unfortunately. The first step to debugging further would be to deactivate plugins, are you able to do so in the WordPress backend? If not then you can simply rename the plugin folder via FTP so see if the problem goes away then, you can name it back to plugins after that and then activate the plugins one by one in the backend after that.
Best regards,
Rikard -
