I have come across a bug between WPML and Enfold where when a saved template is loaded in the secondary language and the post/page is saved in draft mode, the content in the secondary language gets overwritten by the content from the primary language.
However, if the post/page in the secondary language, with the saved template loaded is published, this issue does not occur.
Please advise if you are able to test and replicate the issue.
Thanks.
Hey Rustum,
Since this only occurs when you “preview” a draft it is related to the WordPress preview feature. When this is used WordPress doesn’t load all of the elements and scripts to show the page correctly. We don’t have a way to force this without changing the WordPress core files.
We recommend publishing the page and view in a new tab as you work on it, if you want to hide the page as you work on it try adding a password to it so only you can view it.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi Mike.
Understood. Thanks for clarifying this. For now, I will have to publish the page privately then or add a password as you have suggested.
Just to clarify, this issue only happens specifically with saved Avia *templates, it doesn’t occur when the page is built with the Avia Builder or Default Editor from scratch and saved in draft made. Hopefully this helps in your investigation in figuring out if this can be fixed with a feature release of WordPress/Enfold.
Thanks.
