I’ve been using the Enfold theme for many years without any problems until recently. Basically, it is not allowing certain pages to load (from the WordPress editor) so editing these pages is not possible – just a spinning wheel. Have not experienced this issue before.
I tried creating a new page and everything seems fine – can save as draft no problem. But once the page contains a modest amount of content it fails to save and again the spinning wheel stops me from accessing it.

Have disabled plugins and tested without any luck – same problem.
Tried updating the theme, but got error message: An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

    Cheers

    Hey Shane,

The update to 4.5 needs to be done manually unfortunately, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

If updating doesn’t help then please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Shane,

Sure thing, we can help you out with updating. We need to verify that you have proper backups of the site in case anything should go wrong though?

Also please post FTP login details in private in case we should need to access the server as well.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

I have exactly the same issue (and I raised my own thread for it a few days ago).
I have manually updated to Enfold 4.5 and that didn’t fix my issue.
I’ve also tried all the suggested fixes (disabling all plugins, trying different browsers, etc) but no joy.
I am waiting for somebody at Enfold to take a look at what is causing the issue but it is obviously a common problem.

Yes, I haven’t had any real issues with the Enfold theme until now. Hopefully we can get it sorted soon.

    Hi Shane,

I’ve updated your site to 4.5, the front end looks fine but please do check on your end as well to verify that everything is working as it should.

About the Layout builder not working, I checked the front page and the builder is loading without any problems. If you still have problems then please point out the exact pages so that we can have a closer look.

    Thanks,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,
The page that would not load seems to be working now. Will take a close look over the next couple of days – but for now, all good. Thank you for your prompt support… I appreciate it.

Great, glad that it’s working again and sorry for the problem. We’ll keep the thread open in case you should have any further problems.

    Best regards,

    Hi,
I’m currently having the same issue.
Just bought an Enfold license and installed it manually in my web last week. Today, Avia Editor was not working for about 20 minutes, then started working for about 30 minutes and during the last hour it is being impossible to work with it. The editor is never loading and even when I start creating a new page it delivers new issues like media files not loading or the same issue with the editor.
I have another page with the 4.3 version and it is working perfectly. Can I just go back to the previous version or is it any way to fix this?

    Best Regards
