Hi guys, I recently tried to edit an old page but I’m constantly being shown the spinning circle.
I’ve checked PHP memory as previously advised to another member and that’s already set to 128M
I’m running the latest Theme version 2.4.2 and also WP 3.8
Any suggestions? TIA
December 15, 2013 at 5:50 pm #200431Hi metserve!
Please try deactivating all active plugins and check if that helps. Then you can activate them one by one to find the culprit
Best regards,
YigitDecember 15, 2013 at 5:53 pm #200432Thanks – I’ve just tried deactivating all plugins, but it’s still the same.

Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately so we can take a look?
Cheers!

YigitDecember 15, 2013 at 7:22 pm #200474Yigit,
Thanks for that …. hmm. No I haven’t, I’ve tried opening that same page … and it opens in ‘normal’ view.
Can you try opening the ‘Home’ page … see if that works for you please?
Thanks.

YigitDecember 15, 2013 at 11:41 pm #200517Hmm, very strange … I’ve tried also in IE11 (I never use this) and this also doesn’t work.
I’ve tried it on my phone … (Android with Chrome) and still doesn’t work?
What could be the problem?
December 16, 2013 at 5:26 pm #200705Hi!
Try switching the above credentials back to an admin and then log in with those. I’ve run acrosss one other instance where a specific admin account wasn’t able to do specific things on a plugin though there was no reason why I could ever find out.
Best regards,
DevinDecember 17, 2013 at 1:37 am #200881Devin,
That was it, great call …. but that’s very strange as it worked before?
Do you think this is something we can work on? It’s very strange that it’s only recently stopped working!

December 17, 2013 at 1:49 am #200888OK – so I’ve got around it by doing this ………….
Created a New Admin account.
Deleted old admin account and associated all posts to new admin account …..
phpMyAdmin into the DB and changed the User / Login name to my original one ………
Logged back in and all is working again!
Very strange little glitch indeed, but thanks Devin for mentioning it …. at least it’s fixed now :)
