    Hi I am using The Events Calendar
    in enfold theme :

    I was told that i could use the Avia Layout builder with the events calendar but the button is not appearing

    Hey thetshed,

    You can use shortcodes from the Advanced Layout Builder. Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Hi,

    Avia Layout is generated with shortcodes, so most probably there is no other way to deal with that, other than deal with the shortcode.

    Please explain the outcome/solution here. I have a year of events using the av_button shortcode which is no longer appearing. How can this be fixed? Please explain “Avia Layout is generated with shortcodes, so most probably there is no other way to deal with that, other than deal with the shortcode.” and how a solution may be found.

    The register button does not appear because this is the past event. You’re not supposed to be able to register to it.

    Can you give us a different event, where you have the button is not showing?

    Hi,
    Sorry for the late reply, the dev team has been working on a solution for the shortcodes not showing, and we now believe we have a solution for this.
    Please include a admin login & FTP access in the Private Content area so we can apply it to your site.

    Hi,
    Thank you for the FTP access, I renamed your current theme to “enfold-old” then I uploaded the new “enfold” and checked that your site is working correctly. Please also check for yourself.
    While your site seems to be working correctly, I’m not sure where to see the error, Please clear your browser cache and check.
    Once you are happy you, (or I) can delete the “enfold-old” via ftp, (not the WP theme page)
    Should for some reason you wish to roll-back to the old version, it’s easy to do, simply rename the new “enfold” to “enfold-new” via ftp and then rename “enfold-old” to “enfold” then refresh your page.

    Hi Mike. All looks good! If you would please clean up left overs (enfold-old) since you know what was touched. Let me know when you are done and I’ll clean up accounts. Thanks for the solution! Try to enjoy whats left of the weekend.

    I have deleted the “enfold-old”, you can clean out the accounts, thanks for your patience and using Enfold.
