    Hi there –

I recently created a new WordPress user account for my client (with Administrator privileges). However, when she attempts to edit a page, the Avia Layout Builder does not load (it just spins and spins). We’re running WP 4.6, so I figured updating to Enfold 3.7.1 would fix this issue. However, I updated the Enfold theme today and this issue was not resolved. When she logs in, it still will not load (even after clearing her cache). She also tried numerous browsers without any luck.

Interestingly, I do NOT have this issue when I login under my own WP Admin account (which was the first user account created for this site as I am the main administrator). I am able to edit a page with the Avia Layout Builder without issues.

I can’t figure out why my user account does not have this issue but her’s does. I have reviewed her account settings and everything looks good. She is set up as an Administrator so she should be able to edit the page using the Avia Layout Builder.

I have included the login credentials for her account in the private content area.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi loraehmke!

What is the browser your team mate is using?
Can you check it is not somthing browser related?

    Thanks a lot

    Cheers!

She tried it in both Chrome and IE. Using her WP account, I tried it in Chrome, Safari and Firefox and had issues in all 3 browsers – even after clearing cache. I also tried flushing my server cache but that didn’t work either. I don’t think it’s a browser issue.

UPDATE – In reading further about this issue, I deactivated all my plugins one by one. I think I found the culprit. I deactivated the “Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin” and it seems to be working now. My guess is that this plugin is not yet compatible with WP 4.6 or Enfold 3.7.1.

Do you have any recommendations for another redirect plugin I could try?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Great, glad you found the problem :-)

What exactly are you using that plugin for? I would try simply searching for a new one, you will likely get multiple choices of plugins having the same functionality.

    Regards,
    Rikard
