Hello,
Mike helped my site upgrade the latest version of Enfold yesterday. (Hope you can track #1213670)Everything worked fine, but then I just found that Avia Layout Builder is no longer working. I deleted cache and tried different browser. No luck. Could you take a look at my old case and start from there?

Please try to deactivate the Classic Editor plugin, then activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options instead to see if that helps.

RikardThanks, How do I activate it from the main page? I went to Theme Options > Select Your Editor and selected WP Classic Editor.
The problem persists. The layout builder used to be above the actual editing area, but it shows below it now, with a weird look. (tabs disappeared, but elements are there. You cannot select them though)Hi,
Thanks for the update. What happens if you deactivate all plugins in order to check for a conflict? You can deactivate them one by one afterwards to see which one is causing the problem.

RikardI disactivated them one by one, and ended up disactivating all of them. No luck. This is tough…I cannot add new posts, which is really bad. Should I abandon the theme? I need an answer really soon…

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

I think theme was not installed properly. I deleted old Enfold version and re-installed the theme and that helped. Please review your website :)

in the mean time, I’ve lost almost half of my readers through this theme-wordpress version unmatch. I was using the old version of Enfold without realizing it was even affecting how Google search bot discovered my site. Google wasn’t indexing my posts anymore it as it used to. The coverage by Google is the lowest ever right now.
I wish if I had known better. Not sure if I could even get my pages covered by Google again like before.Just bringing it back because the problem was much bigger than I thought. I want other users to realize the risk.

Sorry for your problem, if you give it some time then I think your Google ranking will come back. I would recommend that you create a staging site, and perform update there first before you update your production site in the future.

RikardI will do it next time, but it doesn’t really address the problem I have right now. Google coverage is the lowest right now. Sigh….anyway you can close this case now.
