    Hey Mathias!

Enfold is not translated in every language but only in english.

    Regards,
    Andy

    Dear Andy,
I am aware of this, but depends of the installation, the fields are shown in english (installation 1) or german (installation 2).

    Example:
Installation 1: Enfold Version 3.3.2 ==> Layout Elements / Color Section (displayed in english)
Installation 2: Enfold Version 3.2.1 ==> Layout Elemente / Farb -Sektion (displayed in german)

Both installations are running with WP 4.3.1 with german language, but are using different demo imports (1: Church 2: Default? Could this be the problem? Or is it the Enfold version?

    Thanks,
    Mathias

    Hi!

You can install this free software – http://poedit.net/ and translate missing strings. Please consider using a child theme – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ to stop your language files from overwriting – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme-translations/ :)

    Best regards,

    Dear Yigit, dear Elliott,

it is not the page content; it is the Enfold menu (as one example) and the Avia Layout Builder Buttons/functions, as described in my previous post.

I now updated the second installation to enfold version 3.3.2 (coming from 3.2.1) and it is still running in german. So why should I translate things in the other installations manually?

Do you get my point? Both installations should look the same and should be displayed in german (as Installation 2 does).

    Best regards,
    Mathias

    Dear Kriesi Team,
I found the mistake. The two installations were running different german languages. Installation 1 = Deutsch (sie)// Installation 2 = Deutsch. After switching back to Deutsch, everything works as expected.

    Thank you,
    Mathias

You should be able to copy and rename the copy to “ThemeodPluginName”_de_DE_formal.mo to get it running with formal language.
