I hope you guys can help, I’m pulling my hair out right now!
I’ve been working on a site using the enfold theme and I have customised the Enfold Gym Demo content.I’ve been experiencing issues with the Avia Layout builder that I have been trying to resolve/work around with little luck…
My main issue right now is with the home page on the site.
Basically, there is some content that is not being displayed either in the editor or on the ‘live’ page and it has something to do with the arrangement of the different sections.
I have come to this conclusion because if I delete one of the colour sections and preview the page, this content reappears, all be it in a very messy way.
I am unable to add any more colour sections without breaking the current layout. If I try to add one now, the footer section shrinks as though I am putting it inside the colour section.
Additionally, the creation of a new colour section does not make the ‘hidden’ content mentioned earlier, reappear.
I have included log in information in the private content…
Please help!

I see what you mean about not being able to add another color section, but I don’t know what hidden content was and I can’t investigate without admin privileges. Try deactivating your plugins and see if that helps.Best regards,

I tried deactivating the plug ins but that didn’t help.
I have given you admin privileges so that you can investigate further.
To replicate the ‘hidden content’ scenario, try deleting one of the existing colour sections.
May 10, 2017 at 11:55 am #791009Just an update. I can’t make those “hidden items” reappear anymore either.
Another thing that is affected that I forgot to mention is blog element at the bottom of the page… the category title styling is not displaying at all.
Also, if you navigate to the sessions page, there is a spinning wheel in the editor and you can not move any of the sections.
Please advise as this is becoming a major issue for me. As mentioned, deactivating plugins did not work.
I tried saving the page as a template and creating a new page but the problems carry over…May 11, 2017 at 11:20 am #791589Hi Mike

The session page is loading like that because there is an error due to some calendar adding Javascript that is not working. (screenshot in private).
This is the code that will adjust the category links to orange.page-id-330 .avia-content-slider-inner span.blog-categories.minor-meta a {color: orange;}

Thank you for your reply.
With regards to the Javascript code. The code works as intended, it is actually a 3rd party booking system that my client wants to use so it has to be there. As long as it doesn’t break the site I might be ok.With regards to the styling for the category links, this is an issue that is being caused by the problems that I have with the Avia layout builder…you can confirm this by visiting the blog page and viewing the correct styling which is inherited from the theme styling…
There is definitely a problem with the Avia Layout builder…I have seen plenty of unresolved support requests regarding this. I need an resolution to this problem as soon as possible! Surely somebody has a fix!?
May 12, 2017 at 2:10 pm #792303Hi drelambo,
Have you seen the screenshot that I attached in private? It is the error that interferes with the Advanced Layout Builder work. Most of the treads on forum have different errors causing issues, and I showed you yours. That does not mean you have to remove the code, you just have to make both work, without breaking each other.
Best regards,

Thanks for your response.
I did see the screenshot you sent.
Are you saying that even though that “script” only runs on the ‘Sessions’ page it will affect my home page too?
I find it strange then that the problem does not occur on all pages, especially since no console errors show on the home page?
Please look at the issues I have on the home page and tell me if you still believe this to be the case.- This reply was modified 7 years, 7 months ago by drelambo.
May 14, 2017 at 9:37 am #792878Hi,
Which elements in the home page are not displaying? All the builder elements are displaying as far as I can see. I also added another color section with a text block and it shows up just fine.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 14, 2017 at 1:59 pm #792926Hi Ismael
Please refrain from making changes to the site and publishing them!
The issue occurs if you add the colour section further down the page. Try it and check the footer.Do not publish changes!!!!
You have actually ruined my homepage!
I can not remove the section you added without causing the problem!
This is totally unacceptable!!!!!

May 14, 2017 at 4:04 pm #792973I have resolved my issue by rebuilding the home page from scratch.
The problem had something to do with the Masonry Gallery Section that was displaying portfolio items.
