    We’ve recently been adding a number of new pages to our website to build up the directory. Everything was working and then we went to create/edit a new page and noticed that the Image elements in the layout builder wouldn’t load/were just blank. Same occurred for some other elements such as buttons and special headings. Text blocks were fine.

    Our dev server is working without issue and we’ve check the code very closely and can’t find any issues. Only thing different between dev and live server is number of built pages.

    I’ve pasted my website and login credentials for you to see the issue below.

    Hey mcbaile,

    Thanks for the login details. Could you try updating your PHP version to 7.2 or higher, to see if that helps?

    Hi Rikard, updating the PHP will require a huge amount of work and the dev server is on the same PHP version as the live. Also the live was working fine until we created more pages. It seems to be a page quantity issue on the site. Currently we’re unable to change, update or create any new pages on our website so it’s a major issue for us. Our developers have been through all the code and cannot find anything so asked me to contact yourselves.

    We’ve also noticed that YOAST SEO won’t open in the Layout Builder. Again we’ve not changed anything other than to just build more pages on the site.

    As mentioned above, currently we’re not able to create or edit any pages or post on our website so could really do with some feedback on this. We have a full time development team looking at the issue but they are saying it is an internal issue with the enfold theme and the update hasn’t fixed it.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. Could you try to give us some more details on this internal issue which your developers has found please?

    Does the same thing happen if you update all plugins, activate the parent theme, or switch to a different theme? Does the same thing happen on the dev server if you push the live version there? If so then it might be easier to debug your problem on the dev server.

    We moved the live server data to a local server to test as we want to keep the dev server as it is to try compare why it is working and the live is not. We’ve found no code errors or issues yet. The only issue we can see is the number of pages created is greater on the dev than the local/live and this volume of pages/data appears to have caused the error which is why they told me to contact them creator of the theme as this is the source of the error. If you are unable to help them we’ll try to create a work around through a child theme. Thanks
