The Avia Layout Builder doesn’t load when the Yoast SEO plugin is active. It just spins endlessly and never loads. Which means we can’t edit the page’s content OR use the Yoast snippet editor, when Yoast is activated. When the Yoast SEO plugin is DEactivated, then the Avia Layout Builder loads, so we can edit the page content. But then, of course, we can’t use Yoast features to do our SEO work.
Yoast activated = no page builder
Yoast deactivated = page builderLatest version of Enfold
Latest version of WP
Latest version of Yoast
Cache cleared
Disabled/enabled all pluginsAnd still:
Yoast activated = no page builder
Yoast deactivated = page builderAlso, when I create a new page, and click on the “Advanced Layout Editor”, nothing happens at all.
I believe this started to happen fairly recently, after the last WP update.

September 5, 2016 at 11:04 pm #682369I have the same problem. Editing pages doesnt work, but editing posts does.
September 6, 2016 at 9:23 am #682508We have the same issue with Yoast SEO not working with the Avia Layout Builder on WP 4.6. We use Yoast extensively and hope a fast solution to this problem can be provided. The Avia wheel just keeps spinning and the Debug Bar gets activated for an issue occurring.
September 7, 2016 at 5:03 pm #683263Hello? Anyone from Kriesi support can you tell me if you’ve looked at the websites I provided you access to in private message? I was told to start a new topic, so I did (and others have now joined my new topic as well)… but it’s been a couple of days and I’ve had no response from support. I look forward to your response and at this point, praying for this issue to be resolved. Thanks in advance!
September 8, 2016 at 8:41 am #683560Hi,
Thank you for using Enfold.
We created a test page and the advance layout builder is working. http://riademo.com/test/
The site do not have the latest version of the theme. Please upgrade to version 3.7.1.
UPDATE: It is also working in the previous “Test Page”. http://riademo.com/test-page/
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 8, 2016 at 9:46 am #683581I have been using Enfold theme version 3.7.1 so your test is not correct if it says I am not using 3.7.1. I said in my support notes that Yoast plugins are currently DEACTIVATED on my website. You will need to login into the WP admin area of my website (see the private section in my posts on this issue for login credentials), activate the Yoast plugin and see for yourself on a page. Avia Layout function is NOT working and results in an spinning wheel. I cannot leave the Yoast plugin activated until you fix your software conflict problem.
September 8, 2016 at 2:45 pm #683728Has team kriesi yet been able to replicate the problem? Rofl if not.. its not that hard to replicate the problem. Just log into my provided account and try editing a page and boom -> spinning wheel.
It all looks like this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzH2trpJ2lYMRW5oSUtVVDJsTGs/view?usp=sharingSeptember 8, 2016 at 3:18 pm #683747Hi Ismael, thank you! First of all, I had no idea that I wasn’t up to date on the latest version of Enfold. Doh! I have the box ticked to receive updates, but for some reason I either missed the email or overlooked it. I really believed I was using the latest version (3.6.1), but I see now that I wasn’t.
I updated to Enfold 3.7.1. (as well as latest WP updates that came yesterday along with latest Yoast SEO updates which came yesterday), and now everything seems to be working fine again. Hooray!
Thanks again! You can mark this (my) topic RESOLVED. :)
September 8, 2016 at 6:48 pm #683840Glad Riavon fixed their Avia/Yoast issue but that is NOT the case with our WP website that has been updated to latest Yoast, WP and Enfold releases. Avia Layout still does not work properly and shows the spinning wheel. We continue to have to make Yoast DEACTIVATED due to this issue. When support logs into our WP site you will need to activate Yoast SEO or Yoast SEO Premium to see Avia is not working when you select a page like the Home page.
September 8, 2016 at 7:04 pm #683849Likewise @luxuryrealtygroup and @shaevy, we have the same issue you are describing with Yoast, WP and Enfold, all of which are up to date.
@ismael, I opened a ticket yesterday, describing the same issue as many others here, having Yoast, WP and Enfold all up to date. I provided WP credentials with my new ticket at https://kriesi.at/support/topic/avia-layout-builder-not-working-with-yoast-seo-help/. Please review and advise. Thanks!
September 9, 2016 at 11:30 pm #684372How come there hasn’t been any solution provided for the Yoast SEO and Avia Layout conflict issue?
September 9, 2016 at 11:39 pm #684373Actually there has Not Even been an acknowledgment of this “Bug”.
September 10, 2016 at 8:23 am #684447True there’s been no acknowledgement of the bug when several of us have given access credentials to websites current with all plugins to show the bug is real.
September 11, 2016 at 9:40 pm #684814If no support for the Avia/Yoast conflict bug soon we will switch to x-theme which has better support and response. http://winningwp.com/avada-x-theme-or-enfold-wordpress-themes-compared/
September 13, 2016 at 12:46 am #685435@luxuryrealtygroup and @shaevy, the updated Enfold theme, version 3.8, released today, resolved the Yoast conflict on my end. Hope you all have the same luck!
September 13, 2016 at 2:39 am #685455Thanks @blueunderground as we hadn’t heard from Kriesi regarding Enfold. We just installed 3.8 and it worked fine with Yoast.
September 13, 2016 at 2:18 pm #685784Hi,
glad it’s working fine for you using Enfold v3.8. Let us know in a new ticket if you have some more questions related to the theme. We are happy to assist you.
Best regards,
Andy -
