Site switched to HTTPS; public-facing looks fine, but cannot edit, just get loading icon. The theme is paid for and latest update according to Theme Update. Plugins deactivated/reactivated with no effect. Cache deleted/Hard refresh, no effect.

Have tried to create new page; this time the Layout Builder comes up but key elements (Special Heading for example) will appear but not be editable. That is, cannot type anything in box.

I see that others have had the same issue; I am under deadline and would really like an answer. I don’t want to go through the agony of deleting and re-uploading the theme if the problem won’t be solved and from reading the various help texts, it seems that is the case.

    Hey Kate,

The problems seems to be that you are getting a 403 forbidden error on the admin-ajax.php WordPress file. Could you try contacting your hosting provider to see if they know why the server is throwing that error please? I’ll tag one of our developer for the topic as well so that he can chime in.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Thanks. You have confirmed my suspicion that my troubles are server and not theme-related. I have switched ISP/servers and so far, all is well.
