    Hi,

    I’d like to use the code block element to drop in a custom div that I’m going to style to be absolute and overlay my page. I am having an issue where the wrapper HTML for the code block itself takes up vertical space, so even if I style my div to overlay the page, the area I insert the code block into has a lot of extra whitespace.

    Is there a better way to insert my div into an avia layout builder page? Or do I need to style the code block wrapper html? Or something else? : )

    Thanks!

    Hi hcd00045,

    Maybe you could try the text block element? If that doesn’t work then please send us a temporary admin login so that we can have a closer look. Also try to explain the problem a bit further.

    You can post login details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Regards,
    Rikard

    Hey!

    Please make sure the element @Guenni007 is selected, so it can be working properly.

    Thanks a lot

    Didn’t work in a text block element. Looks like what happens is it wraps my content in a “main” tag, which is taking up vertical space. I added some CSS to position that absolutely and everything seems to work just fine now.

    AND … my client doesn’t want the overlay anymore. :-)

    <main role="main" itemprop="mainContentOfPage" class="template-page content av-content-full alpha units">
