    The Avia Layout Builder no longer works after upgrading to WordPress 4.6. I have Enfold installed twice on the same server and it still works perfectly on the install that I have NOT run the 4.6 update on.

    do you use yoast seo or any other seo plugin? I have the same issue, but deactivating yoast seo fixed it. temporarily solution.

    No SEO plugins. I’ve got Akismet, Gravity Forms, Slider Revolution and that’s about it. Deactivated all plugins and nothing, still doesn’t work.

    I’ve some problem as well after updating to 4.6. In Layout builder, content is loading, loading…….
    Remark: Only in Portfolios. In pages, all works fine…
    Update: also after deactivating of all plugins (seo etc.) it doesn’t work. Anyone have a solutions, should finish a customer page till tomorrow :-(
    Update 2: Downgraded wordpress to the old Version. Works fine again. @kriesi team Waiting for infos when you’ve fixed this issue, to upgrade again to 4.6 Thanks!

    Thanks for your answer. But I already tried all this steps yesterday, incl. override the theme files with an older version. Nothing did help, except downgrading the WP version.
    The Layout builder worked fine in pages and posts, but not in the portfolios. After downgrading WP all is fine again.

    I will try it this weekend again to update WP 4.6. on a test installation. I need to be sure that all works fine bevor I update my different live versions…

    Yes, I tried all those steps, cleared browser cache, tried multiple browsers. Even jumped on a new computer that was never used before to access the site and went one step further and logged in on an Android tablet – all this after disabling all plug ins multiple times and overwriting the theme via FTP. I’ll mention one more time, I have Enfold on a subdomain (the same server) for testing purposes running WordPress 4.5.3 and Layout Builder works fine.

    Hi,

    For testing purpose I have edited the contact page and added a special heading title “Contact us”. Everything works fine.

    You may not see the changes until the cached files are cleared in your browser.

    Please try to hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” and review the site again.

    If the problem still persists let us know which browser you are using.

    Thanks for the help. I normally use Chrome, I have run all updates so I am on the latest version (52.0.2743.116 m). In this case, I have tried MS Edge and did a clean install of Firefox on two separate computers. As I stated in an earlier post, I have also tried on Android. I even went over to a neighboring office to use their computer as they are also on a different Internet connection, and I’ve tried on a Mac using Safari. I tried your suggestions on resetting the cache – have been doing this repeatedly for 2 days.

    I did notice a Javascript error in the Chrome console when I opened it based on your suggestion above.

    At this point, I see a few others with similar problems on this message board, I need to move on to a theme that works more consistently. This site is in development with 3 more coming and I have a staff sitting around waiting. I’ll maintain a test site and come back to your theme if it works again.
