2 Questions:
1) Enfold is the only theme I have purchased, do all of the other themes use Avia Layout Builder ?
2) Is it possible to put a Layout Element inside another Layout Element, if not are there plans to make this a function?
Example:
1/2 and 1/2 inside a 1/1 element.

1) I am not sure, but other themes from kriesi could use it. As far as i know, other theme authors have their own stuff.
2) I dont see why you would do something like that. But you can use shortcodes in the text element.
1) Does anybody else know if all of the Kriesi themes use the Avia Layout Builder?
2) Does anybody else know if this is going to be a possible option in the future, it is actually useful in certain situations.

1- No, currently only Enfold uses Avia Layout Builder. Other recent themes use Template Builder which looks something like this – http://i.imgur.com/17eU2T7.png
2- You can use Color Section element and add other layout elements inside itCheers!

The Enfold theme was the first theme I purchased on Theme Forest, I assumed that they all came with Avia. I will have to make sure I read about each theme before I purchase it.
I used the Color Section to try and do that but it is full screen so it conflicts with the side bar, unless I am missing something I can do so it doesn’t conflict with the sidebar?

Actually you can have columns inside columns, but not with the ALB:
