Hi,
i have created a layout for a certain type of blog post which i assign to a certain category.
I want to display the category on my start page using a blog entry element embedded in a color section.
In the blog entry element i select the categroy (taxonomy) i want to have displayed and make other customizations for rendering.
So far so good.
BUT: there is one bug:
I the blog entry customization i select “text excerpt” only because i want it to be displayed without a read more link.
For blog entries created with the avia layout architekt this is ignored. It always show the read more link!!!Want can be done to fix this???
If customizations get ignored and do not function, the avia layout architekt gets useless. Even though it seems to be a fantastic tool. Thanks for your help

ElliottJanuary 4, 2016 at 9:59 am #559073You can find an example on the start page. If you scroll down:
– Verein des Monats category shows Read More (Weiterlesen)…
– Projekt des Monats category shows NO Read More (Weiterlesen)…Thanks for your support :)
January 4, 2016 at 9:58 pm #559514Hi!
try to deactivate all plugins, to check if one is causing this issue and let us know about your results. If that does not help send us admin access, so we can take a deeper look into it. Are we allowed to deactivate all your plugins temporarily by ourselves as well for testing purposes?
Cheers!
AndyJanuary 5, 2016 at 9:55 am #559787Hi Andy,
same with deactivating plugins. the Weiterlesen (Read more) is still there…I send you the admin access in a private message. feel free to do whatever you need to do to test
Thanks
January 5, 2016 at 1:05 pm #559892Hi!
Have you tried adding the excerpt manually for posts built in the advance layout builder? Edit the post then look for the Screen Options. Enable the excerpt box.
Cheers!

January 22, 2016 at 1:56 pm #570032Hi!
you can remove the “Weiterlesen” button using this code in Quick CSS field:
.read-more-link { display: none; }
Cheers!
