Hi guys
I updated to the lastest version of Enfold and now the Avia Layout Builder is not working. When I open page edit the layout elements, content elements etc. in the upper part are visible but below in the actual editor section it just shows the loading symbol and after that disappears, all I see is white. The content is not visible in the default editor either although the content desinitely is there (everything shows normally on the site). I’ll give you credentials to the site in private content so you can check it out?
June 5, 2015 at 12:36 pm #455065We have the same problem. Just started doing this. We are running the latest WP install but an older version of Enfold.
June 5, 2015 at 2:05 pm #455082Me too, I was struggling to do the auto update so did a manual install instead. The site displays fine, but the editor is totally empty. Though it is there when I try and create a new post.
So frustrating, I kept getting the maintenance bug with wordpress, manual update was the only thing I could thing of.

This hasn’t worked, I’ve cleared the cache. Refreshed the page about a dozen times and tried it in two browsers. All I get is a spinning loading icon. I’ve reinstated 3.1.1, which I’m keeping in a folder called “old enfold”.Regards

@jonrouse Please re-update the theme to version 3.2 and create a temporary admin login and post it here privately so we can look into it.Best regards,

Can you please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps?
Cheers!
YigitJune 5, 2015 at 4:10 pm #455147Hi,

@glimedia have you tried de-activating all active plugins to check if it helps?Best regards,
YigitJune 5, 2015 at 5:48 pm #455199@Yigit, sorry for posting all over the place and hijacking this thread!
I’ve reinstalled from the zip file and still have the same problem. Tried another browser just in case and it’s no different.
The whole layout builder is empty, but it will allow me to drag new elements to it. (I’m not saving these changes of course). Is there anything else I can try? Should I try downloading and unzipping again, just incase anything got corrupt in the download.

Some help for those having the same problem, I rebooted our router. Maybe there was some caching going on there seeing as I visit the page multiple times per day. I flushed the cache multiple times in safari with no action, so maybe the router was caching something?
I have no idea, but glad it’s working and I’m looking forward to checking out some of the new features.
Thanks very much!

June 8, 2015 at 5:36 am #455703Hi @abskevin!
Manually rebooting your router could help with clearing cache, could you try it out to see if you have any luck with it?
Regards,
RikardJune 8, 2015 at 10:28 am #455899@abskevin – yes I just went into the router control panel and rebooted it. Without restarting the browser, it suddenly started working. Have you been able to sort it out?
June 8, 2015 at 11:13 am #455968Any further thoughts, since we now can’t update the client’s site.
June 8, 2015 at 12:14 pm #456006I had the same blank page issue after updating the to 3.2 yesterday.
The only suggestion so far was to delete the browser cache. In Chrome dev tools I have disabled browser cache earlier. (see screenshot)
So after I started the developer tools and refreshed the page everything worked as predicted.
So if you refresh the cache it should work. Check also other options on the web on how to delete the cache of your browser.
June 8, 2015 at 12:49 pm #456026Hi!
Did everyone manage to work out their issue? Clearing browser cache and/or reloading the page should work to solve this issue.

RikardJune 8, 2015 at 12:57 pm #456029No. We provided logins but no response so far.
June 8, 2015 at 1:15 pm #456051Hey @GLIMedia!
You are using a very old version of the theme which is not compatible with the newer versions of WordPress, please try to update your theme: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. And for future inquires, please start a new thread. Things tend to get missed when several users post their issues in one thread, like in this instance.
Best regards,
RikardJune 8, 2015 at 1:57 pm #456076Okay. We were the SECOND on the thread . . . so I don’t see how that got lost.
June 8, 2015 at 5:49 pm #456254Hi!
@GLIMedia, I logged in but it says your using Enfold 2.4.4 which is a very old version. Completely delete Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest. This will ensure your using the latest version, 3.2, and all files are updated.Best regards,
ElliottJune 8, 2015 at 6:55 pm #456291Thanks, Rikard. That worked!
June 8, 2015 at 6:56 pm #456292Thanks, Elliott. I just overwrote the enfold folder and it now works!
