Hi,
I updated my website in a staging space with the last version of WordPress, Enfold and Woocommerce (and all related plugins).
My homepage is very slow to load in opposite of outdated website and the problem seem be avia.js (see screenshot).
I tried also the fix here, but it didn’t work https://kriesi.at/support/topic/having-problems-after-updating-to-wordpress-4-5-please-read-this-first/
How can I speed-up my website?
Hi integraing,
I wasn’t able to log onto your staging site, I got this error message:
staging1.mmgservice.it redirected you too many times.
Not sure what’s going on?
Regards,
Rikard
Please try now
Hi,
On initial visit, the site partially loads under 5 seconds and finished under 9 seconds which is not terribly slow but can be improved. Are you subscribed on a shared hosting? If yes, you might want to consider upgrading the hosting plan. And you can follow these steps to improve page speed:
1. Optimize all images with AI/Photoshop before uploading to server ‘save as web safe’ jpg.
2. Once all images are on the website, optimize with www optimizer plugin twice 1hr 10mins apart.
3. Install wp-smushit run once to remove jpeg extra data then uninstall.
4. Use BWP minify plugin to minify scripts and stylesheets, you can also use W3 Total Cache’s minify settings but we use BWP for Enfold.
5. Install W3 Total Cache or WP-Super cache, select all recommended settings.
6. Logout your website, visit every page at least once to create super cache files.
7. Join Cloudflare setup your website on their CDN, Choose options: Full CDN Optimisation save then activate purge files. Once done log out.
8. Have a cup of coffee.
9. Visit your site after 20 minutes or so.
10. Don’t forget to smile.
