Hello,
We use the Enfold theme hosted at WPEngine excellent provider.
I have found a big issue that is related to your Avia Framework, and the caching system that WPEngine uses.
The Avia editor built into the theme is not properly triggering the cache to clear after saving draft pages or posts. The WPEngine team tested this very seriously, and I was told to approach the developer in order to solve this.
At the moment if we make changes to draft pages, we don’t see the preview changes.
Only after we Publish the page, we see the changes we have made. This is what WPEngine wrote to me:
Since this behavior is dependent on the custom code of the theme itself, I can only suggest contacting the theme developer to ensure that they are following the WordPress best practices for their theme editor. Once this is ensured, the editor should correctly clear the cache when saving a draft.
At this point, we are definitely convinced that the custom editor that opens up when editing pages is the cause of this problem, with how it seems it is not updating the post before showing a preview.I would definitely recommend reaching out to whoever developed the Enfold theme to see if they are able to help you out with this.
The only thing I can imagine might be useful for them to know is that we have an aggressive cache environment. If they know of any files or paths for the functions involving that custom page editor that would need to be removed from cache in order to work correctly, we can prevent cache from loading on those paths on our side to see if that helps.
If those developers tell you that there’s something we need to do from our end, please let us know and we’ll be happy to look into accommodating their suggestions.
Please let me know how we can approach to a quick solution.
Sincerely
Dan
January 12, 2015 at 5:59 pm #378417Hi tech500!
I don’t think there is any QUICK solution for it, but I will contact Kriesi for this issue. Please kindly wait for a reply (it will take a while to find a fix I think).

AndyJanuary 13, 2015 at 8:33 am #378668Hi Andy,
I have told my client that until you’ll find a solution he should publish the pages as privet, not draft…
But we must find a solution for this, since we love Enfold and WPEngine hosting.Just in case my client would insist to move to another host, can you think of another hosting company similar to wpengine , with great speed and support ?
Thanks
Dan

AndyJanuary 15, 2015 at 7:33 am #379886Hey!
Actually I am not sure if understand the problem. I have created a test page and saved it as a draft:
http://wedding.sephi.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=7552&action=edit&message=10Whenever I add new elements or change existing ones and then hit the preview button the changes display just fine in the preview.
Would you mind giving me a detailed step by step walkthrough on how to reproduce the issue?Best regards,
KriesiJanuary 20, 2015 at 7:06 am #382285I have an issue also with the preview not showing the page.
It did.
Then I made one small change and it now does not. I’ve tried on a different browser, same issue.
The small change was to move a few layout elements and content elements to a new spot. The changes are there, saved, on the page but the whole page is not showing in preview, except the header and the footer(socket).
I also do this in draft as I have a live ‘about pages’ on the wordpress instance.
