Hello
I’ve recently updated both Enfold and WP to the latest versions. Prior to the update Avia worked fine in pages. After the updates it has gone.
I have deactivated plugins, cleared cache etc. and it still fails to work.
Can you please help as I would like to edit my site.
ThanksJune 3, 2016 at 8:32 pm #642699Hey redstar1999,

Thanks. Access details included.June 6, 2016 at 8:38 pm #643610Hi,
I tried to edit your pages with ALB and it works fine for me, so I can’t find any issue. Could you fix it already? If not provide us an exact link to the site in question.
Best regards,
AndyJune 7, 2016 at 7:05 pm #644291Hi
The editor is still not visible on pages, both existing and new. I can not add or edit page elements.
I’ve included a number of links as requested.
ThanksJune 8, 2016 at 7:14 am #644577Hi,
Please try following the steps listed here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/my-enfold-layout-builder-is-not-loading-properly/

I have completed all the suggestions in your page link and loaded the latest Enfold update via FTP. However I am still unable to access the Avia editor.
This is incredibly frustrating as I need to edit a number of pages but am currently unable to.
Your help would be much appreciated.June 9, 2016 at 6:45 pm #645636Hi
I have several live Enfold based sites with a number also in production, some of which suffer the same issue. If I’m unable to resolve this issue it will cause me significant problems going forward.
Your help would be much appreciated.June 10, 2016 at 5:15 am #645996Hi,
It seems to be a “mixed content” issue. Did you force the dashboard to load over https?
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://watertreatmentservices.co.uk/wp-admin/post.php?post=4546&action=edit’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet ‘http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.2/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css?ver=4.5.2’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

IsmaelJune 10, 2016 at 8:55 am #646089Hi Ismael
Thanks. The site is https, but has always been so, and Avia worked fine. This issue only started a few days ago.
I have other Enfold based sites on https and Avia works fine?
I will review the Codex article and let you know.
ThanksJune 10, 2016 at 6:45 pm #646303Hi
I added the code in the Codex article and it had no effect. The Avia editor was still not accessible.
Can you please let me know if you deactivated any of the site plugins on my site. All in One WP Security was turned off. I reactivated it and my WP Admin was inaccessible! I manually disabled the plugin and edited the .htaccess file which restored access but I’ll still need to reconfigure All in One WP Security.
Can you please provide some meaningful assistance to resolve this issue.
I look forward to hearing from you.June 10, 2016 at 11:56 pm #646428Hi,
I tried to login, but link doesn’t work. I don’t think that anyone from our team deactivated your plugins, because we always ask beforehand if we are allowed to do so.
There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

AndyJune 11, 2016 at 11:05 am #646513Hi Andy
The login credentials I sent in my second post are still active.
I have already reinstalled the latest Enfold files via FTP and the issue was not resolved. Will doing it again help?
We seem to be going round in circles with no real resolution. Do I need to submit a support ticket to get a more detailed review/support?
Thanks again.June 11, 2016 at 1:28 pm #646528Hi,
I noticed that you are using a caching plugin. Would you mind opening your plugin’s settings page and temporarily deactivate the caching of your site? Then please deactivate the caching plugin and all other plugins as well. Finally clear your browser cache and hard refresh the site (Hold CTRL + SHIFT + RELOAD) to see if that solves the issue.
If that does not help then you need to delete all theme files completely via FTP again and get a fresh copy from your themeforest account afterwards.

AndyJune 11, 2016 at 7:49 pm #646622Hi
I’ve now disabled all plugins including the cache, cleared the browser cache several times with a hard refresh. This did not work to allow me access to Avia.
I also deleted all Enfold theme files via FTP and then re-installed the latest Enfold files from Themeforest.
None of this has worked and I am still unable to access the Avia Layout Builder.
I do not know what to do to resolve this.June 11, 2016 at 8:47 pm #646641Hi
After some more research I have now resolved this issue… at least for me.
For some reason the Advanced Layout Builder function on my site had become locked for editing.
To resolve this go to Enfold or Enfold Child (left menu) and select Theme Options.
In the Theme Options settings uncheck “Lock advanced layout builder” and save.
Avia Layout Builder and Default Editor functions should now be available in pages.
Guys… many thanks for all your help.
Please close this threadJune 12, 2016 at 3:59 am #646761Hi,
glad you could solve it finally! Let us know in a new ticket if you have some more questions related to the theme. We are happy to assist you.
Best regards,
Andy -
