    Suddenly none of the pages will let me edit, and when I tried to restore the Puppy Training page today it deleted the page (though displays the page in preview). I need to edit buttons throughout site, but no page will load.

    Already tried deactivateing all plugins, updating to current WP and Enfold theme, installing Transient Cleaner plugin, nothing works!

    Hey sherryboyer,

    Thanks for the login details. I couldn’t see which version of the theme you are running since you have renamed the theme, are you sure that you are running 4.2.3? If not then please try to update to that: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    It says it is up to date. I didnt rename the theme, this is a site built on a child theme from a former company. How can I make the child theme the parent theme? I was able to edit the pages a week ago, and for the last two years, but for some reason, now the Pages cant be edited and the Avia Builder wont load. Can I clone the site in the cpanel and make it the main theme? How can I fix this while keeping the site as is, I’m open to any suggestions!! Thank you!

    Which version of php are you running? Can you reupdate WordPress with the same version? Please make sure to flush caches.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure why the developers or your site has renamed the theme, maybe to sell if off as their own? Anyway, renaming the theme means that the automatic updates won’t work, that is likely why you are seeing the message that there are no updates. I think it would be a good idea if you cloned your site to a staging area, so that you can update and experiment on there, that would keep your production site safe while you are updating.

    On the staging site you can upload the theme manually via FTP first of all: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    About the PHP info: you can get that from your cpanel or by contacting your hosting provider.
