Hi all – something’s gone wrong with the expanded view…
The WP left toolbar now covers the view as does the Yoast meta – meaning you can’t get access to the various builder elements.
Have ctrl-refreshed etc – no pop up blocker.
Any ideas?!

MarkOctober 31, 2020 at 6:30 pm #1257281Hey Mark,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

November 3, 2020 at 7:04 am #1257878Hi Mark,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
Is this happening for all pages or maybe all pages that uses ALB builder?
I have checked this on few browsers and tried to check the homepage and other randomly selected pages and I don’t see any issue at all.
The web console is also clear and no js error. Can you try to use chrome and check it in incognito mode?Best regards,
NikkoNovember 3, 2020 at 11:10 am #1257932Thank you Nikko – this is really odd – I’ve never seen this before.
I’m in Chrome, incognito and exactly the same thing happens.
It happens on all ALB builder pages – and to be clear I’m clicking on the expand layout builder view.
I’ve tried it on three PCs – all chrome and incognito – same issue. Screenshot in private content.
I’ve just deactivated all plugins too and nothing makes a difference?
Very strange. If you’re able to take another look – I’d be very grateful.
Thanks,
Mark.November 3, 2020 at 5:34 pm #1258068Hi Mark,
I have checked it in both Chrome and Firefox in Windows 10 machine.

Can you go to the page shown in your screenshot again then right-click then click Inspect and click on the Console tab and try to check if there are any error messages (red colored text).Best regards,

Thanks, it seems clear as well. Can you try to add this code in wp-config.php:
define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false );
By default the js and css files in the backend are concatenated, setting this to false might help.
Best regards,
NikkoNovember 4, 2020 at 5:20 pm #1258347Hi Nikko – I know you’re trying really hard to figure this out – I’m afraid that’s not worked either!
I’ve purged the cache and hard refreshed. I’ve also switched themes and then switched back again.
Nothing seems to work!
Can you think of anything else? Or am I going to have to live with this!?Thanks,
MarkNovember 4, 2020 at 6:46 pm #1258385Hi Mark,
At the bottom of the menu, you should see Collapse Menu, which should collapse the menu and should give you a bigger space, though this is not a fix but should help a bit.
Can you try to right-click the gray area just a bit left on Edit Page on top then click Inspect Element, then make sure you select<div id="wpcontent">
then give us a screenshot of this. I have posted a screenshot similar to this in private content.
Best regards,

Looking at your screenshot, the Content area seems to be fixed.
Can you give us admin access to the sites mentioned? hopefully atleast one of it should show up with an issue on our ends then we can provide a fix for it.Best regards,

I have checked it on desktop and laptop and it seems to show properly on my end still, also tried in Chrome and Edge (screenshot in private content).
Can you try to login using the account you gave us? and check if it also shows the same result.Best regards,
