Hello,
I’m using WP 4.6 and Enfold 3.7.1 and suddenly the Avia Layout builder is not loading in the backend. Previous changes made in the backend are visible in frontend, but it is not possible to edit anything in the backend.
I turned off and deleted all plugins and also tried a fresh install of WP on the same database. Still no change. Anything I can do?
Thanks
Edit: Error messages in console are these:
Uncaught Error: cannot call methods on sortable prior to initialization;
load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,plupload&ver=4.6:2
attempted to call method ‘toArray’wp-auth-check.min.js?ver=4.6:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘hasClass’ of undefined

August 23, 2016 at 8:47 pm #676659I opened a topic for the exact same issue, hope a solution will be posted soon.
I just found out that the problem seems to be isolated to Pages. With all plugins activated the advanced layout editor is working fine in Posts. Is it working for you in Post but not in Pages?

August 24, 2016 at 7:54 pm #677211Hey!
That issue seems to exist only on the installations that have not cleared the cache on the backend.
Please disable all your plugins, clear your cache and give it one more try. That might help you solve your issues.
Thanks a lot

If that is what you are suggesting then trust me that I have tried that, as well as different browsers on diffferent computers, I tried deactivating all plugins, I renamed the plugin directory, reinstalled the theme files and reinstalled WP. I ran out of ideas.
I don’t want to hijack this topic but I opened my own topic with the exact same issue and some other users joined that thread confirming exact same issues. I am getting desperate :(

August 27, 2016 at 5:37 pm #678439Hello,
Have you tried disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed (i didn’t try as the site is live)?
Regards,
JosueAugust 27, 2016 at 5:46 pm #678442yes of course we tried all of that. come on guys.
this issue is huge, everyone is suffering, multiple threads are happening. It is not us, it is the theme and/or WordPress 4.6. PLEASE GET ON A UNIVERSAL FIX. we shouldn’t have to go into the database to fix this. Here are the other threads
August 27, 2016 at 6:00 pm #678449Each install is different so the source of the issue is different in each case. In yours, it was caused by this plugin:
Royal Custom CSS for Page and Post
It’s disabled at the moment, you’ll note that ALB is working.

JosueSeptember 3, 2016 at 5:37 am #681523So from what you have seen does this seemed to be caused mainly but plugin conflicts?
Thanks.
September 5, 2016 at 5:00 am #681909Hi @Micheal0424,
Usually it’s only browser caching but sometimes it can be plugin conflicts or specific server settings as well.

RikardSeptember 10, 2016 at 2:07 am #684384Hi all – I am having same issue. I do not have any third party plugins installed and I have cleared my browser cache. Still not working. Can you assist? I have a deadline to meet and this is worrying to me…thanks in advance! Login creds in private content.
September 10, 2016 at 3:25 am #684388Robertjnetzly,
I had the same issue and this worked for me:
Create another user with admin credentials and then login with the new user and see if it works.
It worked for me. After that I saw it worked I deleted my current admin user id and then recreated it with the same information and it worked fine from then.
Good luck.
