I have built a testimonial section using the Avia Builder beneath a large amount of content on the homepage. When I press “update” the testimonial section is erased and there is no record of it ever being created, even if I was able to save it before.
I tried using shortcodes but have the same problem. I also tried to completely rebuild the entire homepage on another URL.
Is there an issue with lengthy pages?
Thank you in advance..

Probably an issue with your content above it. What happens when you try it on another page? It works fine? I would try creating a template of that page and then add your elements in piece by piece to try and figure out where the problem is.
Also, you need to update Enfold to the latest version, 3.4.7. Your currently using 3.1.5 it looks like.

January 22, 2016 at 6:42 pm #570270It’s showing me that I’m updated to the latest version… at 3.1.5….
It’s not giving me the option to update below where you enter the API key within the Enfold Theme Configuration, and it’s not showing up in the update section of the WP dash.
I’ve tried building it on another page, no luck. Same issues occur.
January 25, 2016 at 6:01 am #571094Hi,
Please send us a temporary admin login so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. You could try the following plugin in order to clear WordPress transients: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/

January 28, 2016 at 4:52 am #573471Hi,
Could you try to update manually to see if that works better? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

February 8, 2016 at 3:22 pm #579681Hey!
Can you please save your page as a template and then load on a test page and tell us how can we reproduce the issue? I checked your website and it does seem fine to me, there are content below testimonials.
Cheers!

RikardSeptember 22, 2017 at 5:59 pm #855475This is INFURIATING. I could have been done with my website 3 times over if I weren’t spending hours rebuilding the same thing!!! I have emptied my cache, I have disabled all of my plugins, My PHP is the latest and I have rebuilt my page from the ground up…and it is the same thing over and over. There are over 400 revisions I’ve done on my home page with 350 of them just RE-DOING what I’ve already done 299 times. This was my favorite them by far…but I can’t afford to have it not work and hold up the launch of my site. PLEASE help.
My login credentials attached.
Best,
Joelle

September 24, 2017 at 5:37 am #855945Hi,
Thanks for that, the Layout Builder is sensitive to open markup unfortunately, and it looks like you have some on your front page:
Problems can become <strong>opportunities</strong><br />when the right <strong>people</strong> come <strong>together...
The last strong tag is not closed properly. Could you try to close it and check for other open tags please?
Best regards,
RikardOctober 6, 2017 at 8:33 am #860893Thanks Rikard. That WORKED!!! No more disappearing pages!
