    Question
how to automatically (not manually) update an ALB element, placed in dozens of web pages?

    Situation
    – I created a client banner using the Partner/Logo ALB element
    – In this client banner and for each client case there are 2 things: 1 logo and 1 link pointing to each client page
    – Every time I sign a new contract, this client banner changes, I have to add the new customer case
    – This customer banner is present in each of the customer case pages and I have more or less 40 client assignments to date
    – Each time I win a new deal, I have to go to each of the 40 customer case pages to modify the customer banner by adding the last deal.
A tedious process that becomes more cumbersome as time goes by and clients are gained.

Would there be a smart way to automate this process so I can save hours of work and avoid tedious manual handling, by any chance?
Would it be possible to save a model (as a varaible) and that this model is called by all the customers page?

I know it would be easier if I was a developer, but I’m not.

Thanks for all the tips and ideas you might have

    Hey rvga,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

Sorry to say but out of the box and without programming skills this is not possible.

It would need to get a deeper insight what logic is needed to update the element. Then you can decide what way would be the best to store and update this information needed for the element to update correctly.

    Best regards,
    Günter

I am not quite sure that I understand the question correctly.
A new “order” is added and it is included to an alb (f.e. a fullwidth-slider, or partner-logo) . On each of the individual customer pages, this ALB then appears again with the changed data, but it is on all customer pages the same banner! ?

    ________

what if you create a new page – with only that banner. This is the page you had to add the new “order”.
Then you can add that banner via “Page Content” ALB to your customer pages.
Eachtime you edit that Content – it will be synchonized to all customer pages.

    Hey Guenni,
It sounds like you save my life.
I’ve never tested that ‘Page content’ ALB element before so I didn’t know it could solve my problem.
I will try it for sure later and I’ll let you know if it works for what I want to do.
But it sounds like a very good idea… :))
Thx for the tip and talk to you later…

    Just perfect Guenni.
This is exactly what I was looking for
Now I can change only 1 page instead of 40.
    It saves me a lot.
    THANK YOU ;)
